Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and the commitments we make about your farm data.
Last updated
1.The short version
Your field data is yours. AgriVerse stores it so we can show it back to you and compute the things you asked for. We do not sell it, we do not license it to input suppliers or commodity traders, and we do not use one customer's agronomy to advantage another.
You can export everything in open formats at any time, including after you cancel, and you can ask us to delete it.
2.What we collect
- Account details: your name, email, phone if you give it, role, and the organization you belong to.
- Farm data: field boundaries, crops, plantings, soil profiles, the operations you record, and any device telemetry you send us.
- Derived data: vegetation indices, management zones, water balances, and yield estimates computed from the above plus public satellite and weather sources.
- Usage data: which pages you opened and when, so we can find bugs and see which surfaces earn their place.
- Billing data: handled by our payment processor. We never see or store full card numbers.
3.What we do with it
We use your data to run the service: computing indices over your boundaries, alerting you when a threshold trips, generating reports, and billing you for the hectares you monitor.
We use aggregated, de-identified statistics to improve our models, for example how a crop's canopy typically develops in a region. This never exposes an individual farm, and you can opt out in your organization settings.
4.Who else sees it
- People you invite to your organization, limited by the role you give them.
- Infrastructure providers who host the platform and process payments, under contract and only to deliver the service.
- Nobody else, unless you ask us to (for example, sharing a season report with a buyer) or the law requires it.
5.Public data sources
Satellite imagery comes from the Copernicus programme (Sentinel-2) and the USGS (Landsat), and weather from public forecast services. Those sources cover your ground whether or not you are our customer. What is yours is the boundary you drew, and everything we computed inside it.
6.Where it lives and how long
Data is stored on infrastructure in the region selected for your organization. We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After you close it, we retain records for 30 days so an accidental deletion can be undone, then remove them.
One exception: entries in the append-only field ledger are never edited or deleted while the account is open, because their whole purpose is to be a record that cannot be quietly changed. Closing the account removes them along with everything else.
7.Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time from your profile settings, or by writing to us. If you are in a jurisdiction with statutory data rights, those apply and we will honour them without making you cite the statute.
8.Analytics and tracking
The marketing site records page views and CTA clicks first-party, with no third-party trackers and no advertising pixels. We honour Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends either, we record nothing at all.
The application sets one cookie, the session refresh token. It is httpOnly, and it exists so you stay signed in.
9.Changes and contact
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect rather than quietly updating the date at the top.
