Terms of Service
What we provide, what we charge for, and an honest statement of what remote sensing can and cannot tell you.

1.Agreement
These terms govern your use of AgriVerse (the "Service"), operated by AgriVerse Labs. By creating an account you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organization, you confirm you can bind it.
2.What the Service is, and is not
The Service measures and presents data about your fields: satellite-derived vegetation indices, sensor telemetry, weather, and the records you enter. It also computes derived figures such as management zones, water balances, and yield estimates.
It is not agronomic, financial, or legal advice. Derived figures are models built on remote observations and public forecasts; they carry real uncertainty and can be wrong on any given field on any given day. Decisions about inputs, irrigation, harvest timing, or crop insurance remain yours, and you should ground-truth anything consequential.
3.Your account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record and for keeping your credentials secure.
- You must be entitled to map and monitor the land you add to the Service.
- Organization owners control who has access and at what role. Removing someone is immediate.
4.Your data
You keep all rights to your field boundaries, farm records, and sensor data. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the Service for you: to store your data, compute the derived figures you asked for, and show them back to you and the people you have invited.
You may export your data in open formats at any time. We do not sell it or license it to third parties. The Privacy Policy covers this in detail and is part of these terms.
5.The append-only record
The field action ledger is append-only by design. Once recorded, an entry cannot be edited or deleted while your account is open: a correction creates a new linked entry and the original remains visible. This exists so the record can be shown to a certifier or a buyer without anyone having to trust that nothing was quietly changed. Deleting your organization removes the ledger along with the rest of your data.
6.Plans and billing
- Plans are metered per hectare per month, with the first 20 hectares included on every plan.
- New organizations get a 21-day free trial with no card required.
- Billing is monthly or annual, in advance. Annual is charged for 10 months of 12.
- Adding hectares mid-cycle is prorated. Removing them takes effect at the next renewal.
- You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period, and export remains available.
7.Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access another organization's data, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities without written permission.
- Do not resell or redistribute the Service or its imagery outputs except under an Enterprise agreement that permits it.
- Do not use the Service to misrepresent farm practices in a certification, insurance, or subsidy claim.
- Automated access is welcome through the documented API, within your plan's rate limits.
8.Third-party data
Satellite imagery is provided under the terms of the Copernicus programme and the USGS. Weather comes from third-party forecast providers. Availability, revisit frequency, and accuracy are outside our control, and cloud cover routinely makes individual passes unusable. We surface those gaps rather than filling them with invented values.
9.Availability and support
We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service except where an Enterprise agreement sets an SLA. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical.
10.Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for crop loss, yield shortfall, or consequential damages arising from decisions taken using the Service, which is the practical reason the section above is explicit that this is measurement, not advice.
11.Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes are emailed to account owners before they take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
